Mickey Mouse... quick sketch

I drew this one very lightly, it may be hard to see. You might have to click and make the image larger to see it better. I got the idea to draw Micky Mouse because my boyfriend had to draw his face for drafting class, and his Mickey Mouse's head was kinda slanted because my boyfriend can't draw circles. So I wanted to draw him and see how I did with it. I'm going to show my boyfriend Monday.

All Three Pumpkin Pieces- drawing, black and white, and colored

I already put up the black and white one, but I put it up again so it can be compared with the other two. I got a 96% on each one.

Delayed... again. :(

I know I'm still delaying art. I finished my colored painting for the pumpkins painting, and I will get that up as soon as I get the paper back from my teacher. As for fun sketching, I will get that up maybe tomorrow. I just recently finished a pretty cool sketch/ collage thing that I absolutely love. I'm sure I have more stuff to put up here that I've done. So, for those of you actually watching as I add more art, which isn't many, I will try to keep adding as much as possible.

My First Serious Painting- Pumpkins One

This is a value study for my painting class. I had to draw it out, and make a black and white value painting. A value study/ painting is the light and dark tones of an object. For example, anything that is white or lighter grey is a light color, or where light is directly hitting an object. Anything black or dark is where there are shadows, or just really dark colors, anywhere the light won't hit. It took me a few days in class and a few hours at home last night to finish this, but my teacher, Mr. G, used my painting for an example for another student who is two years older than myself. So I must have done a decent job. Click for a larger image!

Delayed art :\

I haven't had much time to post anything up. I do have a few sketches in my book that I could post, but I haven't had any time! School started up again... I'm a sophmore this year. I got to see my best friend, my boyfriend, and all my other friends that mean so much to me. Too bad my art keeps being delayed. I guess I'd be able to draw something if I could come up with something decent! I can't think of anything to draw. Any ideas?? COMMENT!! I'd love comments.

I've visited other sketch blogs, of whom have owners who own photoshop and are many years older than myself, and they all have millions of comments. I'd be happy with like 3 at least. I just want some decent feedback! I've also learned that if you comment a person who owns a popular blog (like the ones I was talking about above)and ask them to look at your own work, they don't do anything. I wasn't sure if that person would or not. But hey, I didn't know, so I just tried it. Attempt failed.

Anyways, I'll try to get as much up as I can pretty soon, for those of you (not many) who would like to see them. Enjoy your weekend!

Girl Watercolor Colored pencils, Girl sketch, and Airenia Moon "AM" sketch

Oil Pastel Sunflowers

Sunflowers colored in with oil pastels, and paint thinner overtop to blend it, and get rid of the chalky feel. I got 92% out of 100% on this.

Art Class Sketches

The school hallway, looking from right outside my art room. I got a 94% out of 100% on this.

My art classroom from my seat. I got a 93% out of 100% on this.

Monster and Bird

This monster is just a triangle with other random shapes put in there. Just doodling with him. :)

Just a big fat bird. :) I like the colors I used. The black really makes the hot pink stand out well.

Monsters! :D

This one is very simple. A couple eyes, a nose, an ear, and the outline of his head. I could have added more, but I think keeping him simple is a good thing.

I love this guy. Hes so fluffy! Usually I'm not good at guns, or full body pictures, but I think this one turned out okay. :)

Aimee Davis

I love this one. It was fun to just keep going with the pencil. I have actually mader her my character. Her name is Aimee Davis. I'll be drawing her from time to time. Click for a larger image! :D

Fat Monster

Just a fat monster :D Click for larger image!

Mermaid

I have realized that I draw the best sketches when I'm trying to temporarily get my mind off of something that is happening at the time. Trying to push something out of my mind makes it easier for me to focus on what I'm doing, and I like how this one turned out. Click for larger image. :)

Witch Girl

I really like this one. Usually I don't draw like this, but I'm going to continue it. It was fun and interesting to see how it turned out. Please click for a larger image. :)

Pink Peacock

Not my favorite drawing. I probably could have done better with more time. More detail would have also made it better. But I guess I'll put it up here anyways. Click for a larger image.

The first is a sketch of a spotted dino from bluebison.net. The second is a sketch of a dragon carrying a bison with two monkeys on its back. Please check out bluebison.net as well. I'm a huge fan of that website. Click for larger images.

Gary from Spongebob Squarepants

Well I can't say too much about this, other than the fact that this is, of course, Gary from Spongebob Squarepants. I used to draw him all the time in middle school.

The Turtle's Tree- Sketch and Finished

Alright, the idea for The Turtle's Tree came from a friend who was also doing the same idea, but differently. I uploaded the final pencil sketch and the finished picture. Click for larger images.

Girl In The Wind

I LOVE her hair and her dress. I like how the two colors of purple seem to wrap and wind around her, and I like how her hair is just blowing to the side. Click for a larger image =]

Love Owls =]

These owls kind of, for me, partially are a dream, In a way. You would have to know me REALLY well to understand me. But I got this idea from an inbox background. So...comment it please. And click for a larger image if you cannot see it.

Mermaid

Mermaid...I blended the tail with the tummy, put seaweed around her, and there should be a hint of blue in the back, but I'm not sure if it showed up. Please Click for larger image.

Rose

Girl and Elephanto

This is a girl I drew. I really like this one. I was thinking about coloring it, like my previous girl I drew, but choice to leave it as it is.

ELEPHANTO! Ok, so this is an elephant. My little sister and I call it Elephanto. I have no idea why, we just do.

Cross Stitch

Teddy Bear Cross Stitch.

Robot and Girl

ROBOT! I found this sketch last night. I drew him a long time ago actually.

Ehh, just another girl. I was going to color her, but I think I knind of like her uncolored.

J (girl)

This is J.

Fairie

I actually first saw this fairie, or one similar to it, on the cover of a book I read. I changed it some though. Different dress, wings, and hair. Position the same though. My friend loves the blending of colors I did on the wings though. Its really easy, and this is one of my favorite drawings yet.

Girl, Monster, and Blugs/ Mushrooms

This is just a girl. I got bored.

I love this little Monster!!!

I guess you could say the mushrooms were inspired by Mario Kart, the mushroom course on Wii. The bugs just filled in space that was empty.

Cat Woman! (not the superhero)

I drew Cat Woman earlier today when I was talking to my friend.
